Pride Care Cleaning was started by a local family who believed Durham homes deserved better — without quotas, without rushing, with the same trusted cleaners returning to your house each visit.

We use plant-based supplies (we'll bring our own, or use yours), wear soft slippers indoors, and send a real photo summary of the visit when we're done. If something gets missed, we come back the next day — no forms, no calls to a help desk in another state.

    Our bread and butter. Same team, same rooms, same care, every visit. Most clients are bi-weekly. We treat your home like our own.

    Quiet, thorough cleans for offices, clinics, and retail spaces in Durham and Chapel Hill. We work around your hours, not the other way around.

    Linen refresh, restock, and a spotless reset between guests. We know what reviews are made of — and what hosts lose sleep over.

    Tell us about the house

    A short note: bedrooms, bathrooms, square footage, pets, anything we should know. Takes about two minutes.

    We come walk through it

    Always free, always one of the owners. About thirty minutes. We bring shoe covers and a notepad, not a sales pitch.

  3. 03

    We send a flat quote

    A real price, in writing, that doesn't change unless your house does. No 'starting at,' no surprise fees for stairs.

  4. 04

    We start, and we stay

    Same team every visit. We'll text the morning of, photograph the visit when we're done, and never auto-charge anything.

We're based off Foster Street in downtown Durham. Most of our route is within a fifteen-minute drive — which is part of why we can show up on short notice, and why we can be picky about the homes we take on.

Do I need to be home?

Not at all. About 80% of our recurring clients give us a code or a key, which we keep in a locked box at our office. We text the morning of and after every visit.
Are you insured and bonded?

Yes — fully insured and bonded in North Carolina. We're happy to send a certificate of insurance to your landlord or property manager.
What about my pets?

We love them. Tell us their names, their hiding spots, and what they're allowed to eat off the floor. We've never had an incident in six years.
What products do you use?

Branch Basics, Aunt Fannie's, and good old white vinegar for most things. We'll bring everything; if you'd prefer we use your products, just leave them on the counter.
What if something gets broken?

We tell you the same day, in person if possible. We've replaced two lamps and a French press over six years — and we replaced them, no insurance claim required.
Can I skip a week?

Absolutely. Text us by the night before and we don't charge a thing. Same-day cancellations are $50 — it helps us pay the team we had scheduled for your visit.
